I had no idea when I opened my first company four years ago with two kids (ages two and six months) that I would later offer workshops for mothers around the world to make more money in their businesses.
Now I have three kids (ages 1, 4, and 6). Being a mother is my greatest joy.
I own two companies now, and being a business owner gives me wings to use my talents and make money. I love that. My content company has a team of 16 writers and we're working with huge brands. All that being said, I don’t want to paint any fake reality for you. I’m very human. I make new mistakes regularly. I get exhausted and lose patience with my kids. I work all day in smelly workout clothes more often than I'd like (ha!) ... but I do have real results and super valuable lessons to share with you about making money as a mom.
Here are a few facts:
I work on my businesses an average 20-25 hours/week. I refuse to give up precious mornings with my kids, so I shoot for working 4-5 hours in the afternoons.
Both of my businesses passed $100,000 in revenue last year. (My own 100 Grand Plan™ worked!)
Revenue does not equal what you pay yourself. I will always be honest about that. Running a business requires investment. I find many mom entrepreneurs need training on terminology between revenue, profit, etc. They also need help with pricing and seeing their own value. (This is the exact kind of knowledge I will bring you, in a very loving way during the workshops.)
I've put yearrrrrs of my life and the very best lessons I've learned about making money as a mom business owner into this workshop. If I could go back in time, this is what I would TEACH MYSELF. Really!
