rock your retreat™workshop: Tell-all TRaining for community builders
Dream of a hosting a retreat or live event? Here’s give-it-to-you-straight training to make it happen.
If you’ve always dreamed of hosting live events, know that your day will come. After the COVID-19 Coronavirus craze, there will be a need for gathering in real life like never before!
With more than 15 years of event planning experience and three years of hosting retreats, I’ve seen the good, bad, and cry-my-eyes-out facts behind what it truly takes to host an impactful retreat. Yes, it’s fun when everyone arrives! But it’s also the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my business. There is so much more to running a retreat than pretty pictures.
For the first time (maybe the only time!), I’m sharing lessons I’ve learned the hard way. I’m opening up my books to share all my numbers, mistakes you can avoid, and my behind-the-scenes tips on filling a retreat with fabulous women. (Hint: It has nothing to do with your follower count on Instagram!)

Hi! I’m Crystalee at The Mama Ladder, and I’m sharing how you can design your dream retreat.
This tell-all workshop includes two hours of powerful training for community builders who want to host their first retreat. You’ll be provided with worksheets and together we’ll focus on:
RETREAT VISION: Get really clear on how you want your retreat to feel and your attendees to take away. I’ll help you decide who your retreat is serving, how you can help them, and where to find them.
ITINERARY & LOCATION: I’ll guide you through a framework on deciding your ideal itinerary and location for your attendees. You’ll come away with a few ideas on where you can host your dream retreat.
NUMBERS: This is the heart of this training. I’ll show you all of my numbers and help you know the difference between breaking even, making a profit, and walking away in retreat debt. THIS IS THE STUFF NO ONE TELLS YOU, BUT I WILL! I’ve spent nearly $90,000 in retreat expenses and will show you where to invest and what to avoid. THIS CAN SAVE YOU LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.
SPONSORS: I’ll share tips on how to find sponsors, share my pitch deck, and the levels you need to be asking for to get your retreat expenses covered.
HOSTESS TIPS: I’ll share how you can set the tone for your retreat, the hard parts that took me a year to recover from, and group management tips to help your attendees have the best experience possible.
EVENT TEAM: We’ll outline the different roles that need to be filled, who you can get to help you, and how to make sure you don’t overwhelm yourself and can enjoy the process.
Workshop Tuition
I believe in rewarding action takers. Tuition is $297 through April 8, then it goes up to $497.
What you will hear in this workshop cost years of my life and hard mistakes to learn. I am absolutely confident that my tell-all approach can save you THOUSANDS of dollars and help you be leaps ahead in designing your own retreat.
This workshop is happening LIVE on Friday, April 10.
